SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Senior Airman Jaclyn Laws, 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels distribution operator hooks up an R-11 fuel truck to a fillstand, Jan 21. The fillstand gets fuel from the storage facility to replenish each fuel truck. On average the 380th ELRS fuels flight pumps 520,000 gallons a day into aricraft throughout Southwest Asia. Fuels keeps mission flowing
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Two R-11 fuel trucks refuel an E-3 Sentry at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, Jan 21. The R-11 holds 6,000 gallons of fuel and is used to refuel the different aircraft at the 380th AEW. The E-3 Sentry takes 20,000 gallons to refuel when completely empty. The 380th is the second largest refueling wing in the Air Force distributing an average of 520,000 gallons a day to aircraft throughout southwest Asia. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Brian J. The fuel and air sensing lines allow the fuel from the hydrant pit to flow through the truck and into the aircraft safely and at a regulated rate of 750 gallons per minute. 380th EMDG provides medical support, counseling
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Maj. Stephen Titus, 380th Expeditionary Medical Group surgeon general, adjusts a cold compress on a severe ankle sprain with the assistance of Staff Sgt. With an increase in mild temperatures, there has been an increase in sports related injuries at the medical clinic.
