Python replaced, fuel continues to flow
SOUTHWEST ASIA - Chief Master Sgt. George Treleor, Tech Sgt. David Butts, Staff Sgt. Joshua Schubert and Tech. Sgt. Ron Evenson, 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, fuels flight, position a fuel line to be disconnected and drained of residual, Feb 7. The fuels flight upgraded the fuel line named "python", changing out 5000ft, upgrading the old worn line ensuring a steady flow of fuel to the base. The fuels flight will replace an additional 3000ft within the next few weeks. Chief Treleor, Sergeant Shubert and Sergeant Evenson are deployed from Eglin AFB, Fla. and Sergeant Butts is deployed from Nellis AFB, Nev. Chief Treleor hails from Philadelphia, Pa., Sergeant Butts is from Las Vegas, Nev., Sergeant Shubert is from Hatboro, Pa. and Sergeant Evenson is from Lena, Ill. The fuels flight upgraded the fuel line named "python", changing out 5000ft, upgrading the old worn line ensuring a steady flow of fuel to the base. Repair and destroy
SOUTHWEST ASIA - Staff Sgt. Nicholas Jacobs, 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, vehicle maintenance, uses electrical tape to hold some wire connections together, Feb 17. Sergeant Jacobs is repairing the siren connections on a fire truck. Sergeant Jacobs works on the larger vehicles brought to vehicle maintenance for repairs. The trailer had reached its repair limits and is now being destroyed to ensure it can't be used again. At home stations the dismantling of "beyond repair" equipment is traditionally contracted out; but here the vehicle maintenance shop is responsible for ensuring the equipment cannot be used by local or third country forces. Wing program helps Airmen get Fit to Fight
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Tech Sgt. Scott Day, from the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron, readies a refrigerant reclaiming tank. Sergeant Day is participating in the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing's Body Mass Reduction Program. His starting weight was 257 pounds at 72 inches tall, giving him a Body Mass Index of 34.8. SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Tech. Sgt. Chad Gibson, 380th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron Aerospace Ground Equipment Shift 2 supervisor, replaces a transformer in a generator battery charging system. Sergeant Gibson is currently participating in the Body Mass Reduction program under the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing and started his deployment weighing 233 pounds at 72 inches tall, giving him a Body Mass Index of 31.5. 380th opens new dining facility
SOUTHWEST ASIA - Members of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing line up for steaks straight from the grill at the new flight line dining facility, Feb 15. The new facility carrying the same name as its predecessor replaced Roy's Diner, one of the last remaining Air Force tent-style dining facilities in the area of responsibility.
